Misadventures of an unlucky general

 As part of the preparations for BarnHOTT, I taught my "wonderful partner" (her words!) how to play Hordes over the Bank Holiday weekend.  We played a couple of games to try out my existing HOTT armies and she won both!  I am counting them as partial victories because I was helping her of course (cough, cough).  Last night, after the vast amount of mathematical analysis done (see previous post), we played again to try out the composition I had decided on.  My new army (maybe I should call it a "New Model Army"?) carved through her's without loss.  Maybe I am onto something?  We will see what Sunday brings.

  Well, after some analysis (details to follow depending on the results!), I have decided on the composition of my army for BarnHOTT 2022 .  No spoilers as yet due to the perfidious intelligence gathering efforts of those who will be against me on Sunday - but if I do better than the last time I played (I came last!) I will crow to the heavens.

 To go with the Tarot readings I am doing to try and divine what army to take to BarnHOTT, I have renewed my joy at reading The Stronghold Rebuilt .  Highly recommended and I hope inspiration strikes me soon.
